Eleven41 Gallery A photographic gallery dedicated to adventure, those devoted to it, and those who are looking for it. Photography exhibited in Eleven41 Gallery celebrates the Scottish mountains and landscape, with occasional collections from around the globe. Carrbridge Artists' Studio & Gallery On the Main Street in Carrbridge, you will find the Carrbridge Artists Studio & Gallery, a family business, displaying artworks produced by Artist Jeff Buttress and Ceramic Artists and Sculptresses Alice & Amy Buttress. The wide selection of works they produce includes original paintings, prints and cards, Studio Pottery, Ceramic Sculptures, Porcelain & Dichroic Glass Jewellery and Chainsaw Carvings. Jeff specialises in depicting the mountains, lochs, countryside and wildlife of the Scottish Highlands in Watercolour, Oils and Pastels and wonderful framed ceramics landscapes. Alice's work, encompassing functional and decorative pieces, is handthrown, handbuilt or sculpted in stoneware and porcelain. She has also made a name for herself as a Chainsaw Carver, competing in the annual Carve Carrbridge Chainsaw Sculpting Competition - there is usually a selection of carvings for sale at the Gallery. Amy, having worked with clay from an early age, has continued to produce unique and unusual works of art. Her 'Raku' ceramics explore the unique effects of smoke, fire and water on the clay body and glaze, to produce exciting texture and colour combinations. Chapel House Arts Chapel House Arts is a new arts complex featuring a Fine Art gallery and the working studios for Anne Bridgen's fused glass work (Fused and Light). We plan to hold a series of art and craft workshops too, focussing particularly on glass work but encompassing all disciplines. We will host changing exhibitions every two months or so, with a mix of local artists and those from further afield. Anne has particular interest in landscape and mountain art and also Christian art so there will be quite a variety during the year! We also exhibit a range of locally produced craft work including jewellery, ceramics, Harris tweed and wood. The gallery name reverts to an old name for the building when it was associated with the Catholic church in Kingussie. But many of you will know the building better as the former planning office!
